Each business is scored 0–100 across digital health categories. The grade ring on each card reflects the overall score:
Tip: Filter by "Bad (D/F)" to surface your highest-value prospects first.
Reputation caps other scores. When Reputation is F (<40): Website max 70, Local max 40, SEO/AEO max 60, Design/Domain max 65, Overall max grade D. When Reputation is D (40–59): Local max 55, SEO/AEO max 70, overall max grade C.
PDFs are generated entirely in your browser — no data is sent to our servers.

If you have an Apollo.io API key (set in ⚙ Settings → Apollo API Key), BizScan will automatically enrich each business with:
Enrichment runs in the background after each scan so it doesn't slow down your results. The contact appears on the business card, in the preview drawer, in the PDF (if "Include contact" is checked), and in the Leads pipeline.
Apollo credits are consumed from your own Apollo account. BizScan never stores your API key on the server — it stays in your browser's localStorage.
Note: Apollo enrichment fetches email data in the background, but the actual email is hidden until you spend credits to unlock it on a per-business basis. See the Credits & Unlocks section.

After scanning, click Save to Leads (or it saves automatically on push to GHL) to add businesses to your pipeline. Access leads via 📋 Leads in the top tab bar.

Your account has a credit balance shown in the header (💎 N credits). Credits are spent to reveal premium info on businesses. Credits are granted when your subscription activates via the billing flow.

Maximum spend per fully-unlocked business: 9 credits (3 scan + 3 email + 3 PDF). Businesses already in the left list skip the scan cost.

If an assessment fails (network error, missing data) the 3 credits are automatically refunded and the card is removed. A toast notifies you immediately.

When an email is unlocked, it appears with a small icon indicating its verification status:

Contacts are tagged automatically: bizscan-DF, bizscan-C, or bizscan-AB plus a niche tag (e.g. niche-plumbers). Duplicate contacts return 422 — GHL deduplicates by email.
Scores are based on detectable signals from the homepage and Google Places data. AEO, social media, paid ads, and phone response time are not included in the automated score.
Reputation caps other scores. With very few reviews (even 5.0★ with <20 reviews) the Reputation score is capped, which limits Website, Local, SEO, and the overall grade. More reviews = higher reputation score = higher overall ceiling.
Yes — save multiple accounts in ⚙ Settings and select the active one before pushing.
Their site may block scrapers, load emails via JavaScript, use contact forms only, or not publish email publicly. Use Apollo enrichment for better contact coverage.
The email was confirmed deliverable — either Apollo returned emailStatus = "verified" or Hunter.io verified it as deliverable. The ? badge means Apollo pattern-matched the email but didn't confirm it.
The business was pushed to your active GHL account during this session. Resets on page refresh but GHL retains the contact permanently.
Yes — click "↓ CSV" to export. The CSV includes all found emails (semicolon-separated if multiple), Apollo contact data, score, grade, and pipeline status.
If no exact match is found, BizScan automatically retries with broader text searches and normalized queries. A yellow banner appears above results to tell you it's showing closest matches, not exact ones.
Run fresh scans weekly before outreach — review counts and rankings change. A D-grade business from last month may have improved.

Email enrichment (Apollo + ZeroBounce verification) is a flat 3 credits per business where an email is found — regardless of whether it's verified or pattern-matched. You're charged per business, not per individual email address.
No. Unlocks are stored in your browser's localStorage keyed by Google Place ID. Re-running a scan on the same area returns the same businesses, and their unlock state is preserved automatically.
